# Asset Profile 360: Asset Companion Sidebar Overview Tab

[00:00] The asset companion sidebar provides details around your assets. And this can be seen whether on the asset discovery page, when viewing results. And the Atlan Chrome extension or on asset overview pages. The asset companion sidebar gives all the information from the asset overview page itself, along with additional potentially important metadata. If there's an announcement on the asset, this will show at the top. And if any custom metadata is enriched and it has a badge associated with it, it will show below the announcement. The description terms, tags owners in certification status.

Also show on the overview for almost every asset type. Below these, if any custom ended data has been created in your tenant and designated to show on the overview page, they show here. Now by default, if the asset has values enrich for any of the custom metadata properties, the field will be expanded. Showing those values. You can click on the expand arrow to see properties that have not been enriched for those fields.

[01:00] Backwards the top of the overview page, additional metadata may be present depending on the asset type. For example, we see here that this Snowflake table, we have the number of rows columns and the size of the table itself. Along with details associated with DBT and the model that materializes the table. Finally, while not displayed fully in the sidebar. If there is a read me on the asset, clicking on the view, read me, brings a pop-up displaying the full Remi for that asset.
