# Data Products & Domains: Data Products Overview Page

Transcript of the video at https://atlan.com/demos/data-products-overview-page/. Each heading is the time (mm:ss) that part starts.

## 00:00 — Viewing the summary and data product score

Once a data product has been created. There is a ton of additional metadata outside of what was initially added at creation associated with the data product available on the data product profile page. Once you arrive at a data product profile, you'll immediately be able to view the summary of the data product, which includes the domain that the product is inalong with the criticality and sensitivity that were designated for the data product. The about field displays, the user input description for the data product and below that is the option to add or view resources for the data product.

There is also a freshness field that is automatically generated by Atlan in displease, in the summary. This field displays the timestamp of the most recent update to the data product. To the right of the summary is the data product score. It's another value that is automatically calculated by Atlan based upon specific criteria of the data product. Clicking on the view details, bricks out the different components that the score is based on for each component, clicking on the down arrow gives additional information regarding the score of that component.

## 01:00 — Updating status and adding announcements

And each component has a graphical representation of the score to the left of it. How the score is calculated, can be seen by clicking on the, how are we calculating the score link, which takes you to a detailed document on ask Atlan about the scoring. Below the score is the detailed section of the data product. Here you can view an update, the visibility associated terms, tags owners in the certificate of the data product. Data products also have an additional status outside of the B certification status in the details. At the top of the page, there's a data product status dropdown.

Here you can update the status of the data product from active to sunset, to alert data consumers, that the data product will soon be deprecated or archived, which not only will update the status to archive, but will actually archive the data product in all no longer. Be visible in discovery. Announcements may also be added by clicking on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

## 02:00 — Linked assets output ports and collaboration

Here you can click on the add announcement to add one to the data product itself. Back in the main profile below the summary section are the assets at a glance in output port sections. The assets had the client section lists the total number of assets linked to the data product and is a link that when clicked will display those assets and allow for filter editing of asset selection, if the user has the rights to do so. The output port selection list, all linked assets that have been designated as output ports for the data product.

I'll put ports or the consumable assets or end products of a data product that are selected from the linked assets. These signify the assets that data consumers should use when working with the data product. Finally the last two sections at the bottom of the page are the read me section where you can add additional information, embed documents, or even embed in Yardi diagram if you're using the likes of ERD lab, for more context around the data product, in the collaboration section where you can link teams or slack conversations along with JIRA tickets.
