Streamline data governance! Experience hands-on how Atlan tags assets, propagates changes, and syncs to Snowflake for seamless data discovery.

## What the demo walks through

1. Begin by navigating to your assets
2. Select an asset to open the asset profile
3. Add a tag to the selected asset
4. Select any number of tags for the asset
5. No propagation is the default setting for tags. Configure tag propagation
6. Allow or restrict the propagation of tags to child or downstream assets. In this example, we'll allow tag propagation to child assets only
7. (Optional) Select an imported tag — it should be from the same connection as the asset you're tagging. In this example, we'll attach a Snowflake tag
8. (Optional) Attach an allowed value or add a tag value
9. Note that reverse sync is disabled for this Snowflake tag, which means tag attachment will be not be synced to source Update tag propagation and imported tag selection
10. Save the tag to your asset
11. (Optional) Hover over the tag to view tag propagation details
