It runs online on October 28, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET. Atlan co-founder Prukalpa Sankar opens and closes the day. Leaders from AstraZeneca, BNY and Verizon share why they invest in context and what they get from it. **Notes from the frontier.** Becoming Frontier, by Atlan, is an open laboratory for AI-native company building. We're trying to build Atlan as a truly frontier company: one where AI is at the core of how we operate and makes us vastly more ambitious, not just efficient. We're learning by experimenting, and Becoming Frontier is where we share it all in the open: what worked, what didn't, and what we've seen along the way.

Start with the latest experiment: [Becoming a frontier company, in the open](https://atlan.com/frontier/essays/becoming-a-frontier-company-in-the-open/).

## Why this lab exists

We're trying to build Atlan into a truly frontier company. A company where AI is at the core of how we operate. We believe Frontier Companies Get More Ambitious, Not Just More Efficient. We believe that operating on the frontier isn't just about tech, it's inherently about pushing human limits: how quickly you can notice a new possibility, test it against reality, absorb what you learn, and change how you work.

We haven't finished. And we're learning by experimenting, failures included. Becoming Frontier is where we share it all in the open: what worked, what didn't, and what we're learning along the way.

We fully expect our views to change as the evidence changes.

## Marketing git log: where agents increasingly work alongside humans

A full-width chart of daily human commits and agent commits, with three annotations:

- 2026-05-05: the fleet arrives — the biggest day in the window
- 2026-06-05: agents write four in five of this day
