In Canada you'd be employed through Globalization Partners (G-P), our local Employer of Record, who handle payroll and benefits admin on Atlan's behalf. Benefits are Atlan-paid.

## 01 Health and Wellness

- **Life and AD&D insurance** (3x annual salary, up to CAD 1,000,000). Paid to your beneficiary, with generous automatic cover and no medical questions up to the plan's limit.
- **Dependent life insurance** (spouse and children). Automatic for eligible dependents on your policy.
- **Short- and long-term disability** (income protection). Short-term covers shorter recoveries; long-term kicks in for longer absences.
- **Medavie Blue Cross Enhanced** (Atlan-paid). Prescription drugs, paramedical (physio, massage, mental health), vision, dental, and hospital coverage.
- **Who's covered** (spouse, partner, children). Your spouse or common-law partner, and children up to age 22, or 26 if in full-time education.

## 02 Time Off and Leave

- **Flexible PTO** (Atlan's main time-off pool). No fixed cap. Coordinate with your manager and team and take the time you need.
- **Statutory holidays + Regional Observance Days** (province-dependent). All the statutory holidays in your province, plus Regional Observance Days on top.
- **Bereavement and sick leave.** Paid leave for the loss of immediate family, and statutory sick leave per your province.

Regional Observance Days: paid days off you choose for a cultural, religious, or regional occasion that matters to you, beyond your Flex PTO and company closures.

## 03 Parental Leave

Whether through birth, adoption, or surrogacy, Atlan's parental leave policy applies in Canada, layered on top of federal Employment Insurance (EI) and provincial entitlements.

- Birthing parents: minimum 16 weeks at 100% of base salary.
- Non-birthing parents: minimum 4 weeks at 100% of base salary.
- Where EI or provincial benefits apply, those pay first and Atlan tops up to 100% of base salary.

## 04 Retirement

CPP (or QPP in Quebec) contributions apply through payroll per Canadian statute.

## 05 Perks and Extras

- **WFH and productivity allowance** (one-time, for your whole tenure). For your home setup: desk, chair, monitor, peripherals.
