**Atlan Emotional Value: Confidence, Trust & Team Qs Guide.** An Atlan resource page; its description follows under the page's own heading.

## About this guide

This resource covers the emotional value of Atlan: benefits that can't always be measured in numbers but affect confidence, trust, and collaboration across teams. It gives a framework of questions to capture how users feel about their ability to access, understand, and apply data before and after an Atlan implementation.

### Question sets by role

- **Business users (pages 3-4):** confidence in understanding KPIs, dashboards, and data sources, and how they respond to inconsistencies or access issues.
- **Data engineers (pages 5-6):** trust in colleagues' ability to find and use data correctly, interpret metrics, onboard new hires, and diagnose breakages or inconsistencies.
- **Data analysts (pages 7-8):** independence in finding data, interpreting it correctly, and handling reporting challenges when expectations differ.

### Tracking and sharing

Track responses over time through quick ad-hoc conversations or structured before-and-after comparisons. The final section (page 9) covers how sharing these stories can drive adoption among both enthusiastic and reluctant teams.
