What will you do? 🤔
- Crafting delightful user experiences around support, such as ticketing, support channels, and customer communications.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow up on the status of problems with respective workgroups on behalf of the end customer.
- Never be satisfied at solving a customer problem, but get deep to root-cause identification by analyzing cascaded symptoms and then solving them across customers for long term to prevent similar issues from re-occuring
- Proactively take calls and manage service levels and abandon rates during business-critical needs
- Handle major incidents by coordinating with multiple teams
- Manage outage events proactively and lead from the front while acting as a Priority Event Manager
- Use logs, metrics and alerts to gauge the health of system, and debug when issues hit the platform or the product
- Craft well-written, user-facing communications and documentation
- Translate user feedback and needs to well-scoped requirements, and collaborate with our engineering team to deliver them in Atlan
What makes you a match for us? 😍
- You have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- You have hands-on experience with Argo Workflows, Python or Go, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
- You are experienced as a data practitioner and/or have operated in a B2B SaaS organization, and you're now looking to expand your horizons and build product-led growth with deep user empathy.
- You have previously demonstrated an aptitude for partnering with internal or external stakeholders across geographies.
- You understand data and software markets, products, and businesses. Familiarity with the modern data stack across ETL, storage, BI, and everything in between, with a demonstrated ability to stay up to date with new developments, is a plus.
- You have the know-how or prior experience of using or building over open-source projects.
- You know the tools that we use for SRE/support — Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, PagerDuty, and Sentry.
- You understand distributed cloud systems and know the process to solve operational issues.
