0:06 So inherently, we all know why we need a catalog. Like, you know, typical challenges, data access issues, who is the owner? Whom do I reach out to kind of, you know ask more questions? How do I get access to data? Those are, like, kind of basic, you know, challenges which every organization faces. When it comes to a modern data catalog, I think the key differentiator I would say is, you know, if let's say a business user, right? He goes to a Tableau or a Looker dashboard, and he doesn't know why my dashboard is not, you know, reflecting the latest numbers, right?

0:34 That is a signal that, hey, underneath some pipeline has not refreshed my latest data, and I'm not able to convey that message to a business user before he finds out that, hey, there is stale data, right? Or let's say, you know, it, it's kind of difficult to understand how my data from raw to kind of target is kind of flowing into, right? So lineage problem. The third thing I would say is most kind of pain point is how do you leverage that metadata, basically, right? We are all, are into a world wherein there are large of datasets growing each day by day, and I would say metadata is a new gold, right?

1:11 How do we activate that metadata? If we are aren't able to kind of utilize that metadata to on real-time basis and let our customers, let our business users know that, hey, this was the data quality problem. We are kind of fixing it. These are my automation, you know, pipelines which are running behind the scenes. If those are kind of, you know, coming, keeping on continuously coming in your organization, that's where you definitely need a modern data catalog, I would say.
