You will help us...

Review sales orders, invoices, and revenue contracts for completeness, accuracy, and proper revenue accounting treatment.
Work closely with the Revenue/Sales Operation team in resolving issues with revenue contracts.
Work closely with the Procurement team in resolving issues with vendor contracts.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries, intercompany journals, accruals, and adjustments.
Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank statements, balance sheet accounts, P&L accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Support monthly and semi-monthly payroll cycles with the recording of needed journal entries
Assist in implementing new accounting policies, controls and procedures.
Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting schedules.
Provide a high level of customer service with finance and non-finance business partners
Maintain strong and productive relationships with the People team, including Payroll, Benefits, Operations, Finance, Admin, Legal and other internal stakeholders.
Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit requests and inquiries from our external auditors.
Flexibility to adapt and absorb other GL-related activities as necessary to accommodate the needs of the team/organisation.
Ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed.

What makes you a great match 🚀

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance.
2+ years’ experience in an accountant role preferably in SaaS/ IT/ITes environment.
Proficient in MS Office tools such as Excel and Word.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and Indian tax laws.
Exposure to Oracle Netsuite (Preferred)
Should have a high degree of attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
